United Nations Development Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA)

SGP joined the United Nations online platform on Technology Facilitation Mechanism (TFM) which aims to facilitate the access to Science, Technology and Innovation. ( https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/TFM ).
In order to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the TFM will facilitate multi-stakeholder collaboration and partnerships through the sharing of information, experiences, best practices and policy advice among Member States, civil society, the private sector, the scientific community, United Nations entities and other stakeholders.

United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC)

SGP has been officially registered in March 2020, by UN ECOSOC, as an official Swiss NGO part of the ECOSOC’s Civil Society Community.
ECOSOC links a diverse family of UN entities dedicated to sustainable development, providing overall guidance and coordination. The entities include regional economic and social commissions, functional commissions facilitating intergovernmental discussions of major global issues, and specialized agencies, programmes and funds at work around the world to translate development commitments into real changes in people’s lives.

World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Match platform

SGP – thanks to the United Nations TFM- joined in January 2020, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO Match) platform (www.wipo.int/wipo-match) which is an online tool to match seekers of specific intellectual property (IP)-related development needs with potential providers offering resources.
We believe that the WIPO Match platform with its large community will help identifying not only sources of financing to develop further this important project but also help delivering tangible healthy results for the communities living in remote and poor areas in Pakistan, in Indonesia and in the Philippines.(https://www3.wipo.int/SwissGreenProjects)

University Al Azhar Indonesia

SGP signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the University Al Azhar Indonesia (UAI), one of the oldest and respected university in Indonesia, to jointly developed social projects on the provision of potable water (throught SGP Swiss made filtered machines certified by the World Health Organization to remote communities in Indonesia).
