ECOSOC links a diverse family of UN entities dedicated to sustainable development, providing overall guidance and coordination. The entities include regional economic and social commissions, functional commissions facilitating intergovernmental discussions of major global issues, and specialized agencies, programmes and funds at work around the world to translate development commitments into real changes in people’s lives.
World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Match platform
SGP – thanks to the United Nations TFM- joined in January 2020, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO Match) platform (www.wipo.int/wipo-match) which is an online tool to match seekers of specific intellectual property (IP)-related development needs with potential providers offering resources. We believe that the WIPO Match platform with its large community will help identifying not only sources of financing to develop further this important project but also help delivering tangible healthy results for the communities living in remote and poor areas in Pakistan, in Indonesia and in the Philippines.(https://www3.wipo.int/SwissGreenProjects)
